Umami is a digital device that relies on interactive projection technology for the playback, recording and sharing of recipes. By combining words, images, audio and video, Umami highlights the nuances in addition to the basic steps of recipes. Recording recipes is made more natural through the use of passive recording buffers. Much like the ability to rewind live TV, Umami continually stores video until the user decides the clip is worth keeping.
