½ pound or one can of chickpeas.
¼ cup of tahini (sesame seed paste).
¼ cup of olive oil.
2 garlic cloves.
Half a lemon.
Salt, black pepper and lemon pepper is optional.
Drain the chickpeas and add them to the blender.
Chop the garlic into small chunks and add to the blender as well.
Next add salt, pepper, olive oil and tahini.
Slice and add the lime into the mix.
Start blending everything together for a couple of minutes until smooth.
Using a spatula, pour the mix into a bowl.
Finish it off with some lemon pepper and olive oil on top.
Enjoy your hummus with crackers or bread.
